Materials Selected for Hospitality, Trade and Export Projects
At Windward, materials are selected for beauty, comfort and long-term outdoor performance. Every frame, surface, weave, cushion and fabric is chosen to support premium outdoor furniture for hotels, resorts, restaurants, architects, designers, distributors and international project buyers.
Our materials are tested for tropical, coastal and high-use environments, where durability, stability, comfort and easy maintenance matter as much as design. From A-grade Indonesian teak to powder-coated aluminium, stainless steel, performance fabrics and quick-dry foam, each component supports furniture built for hospitality, trade and export projects.
Our selection begins with premium A-grade teak and reclaimed teak, valued for natural durability, rich texture and the ability to age gracefully outdoors. Each timber piece is selected for strength, stability and visual character, making it suitable for hospitality terraces, resort lounges, villas, restaurants and premium outdoor spaces.
We pair timber with powder-coated aluminium and 304/316-grade stainless steel to add structure, resilience and modern architectural lines. These materials help resist corrosion and maintain performance in tropical, coastal and high-humidity climates.
For texture and form, Windward uses high-quality HDPE wicker from trusted brands such as Rehau® and Viro®, as well as Italian and local outdoor rope and UV-stable woven fibres. Each weave is hand-finished by skilled artisans for strength, comfort and detail.
Our cushions use Urecel® Quick Dry Foam, engineered for ventilation and rapid drainage, wrapped in Sunbrella® and performance outdoor fabrics selected for comfort, colour stability, resistance to fading, mould and moisture.
Together, these materials allow Windward to produce premium outdoor furniture that looks refined, feels comfortable and performs reliably across hospitality, trade and export projects worldwide.
